POSITION : Manager (Comann Dualchas Innse Gall)
Comann Dualchas Innse Gall (Outer Hebrides Heritage Forum (CDIG)) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to take on an exciting new and key role in the heritage sector of the Outer Hebrides. The CDIG Manager will Line Manage two Development Officers, and support CDIG and partner organisations to deliver aspects of the Great Place Strategy (GPS) and its Action Plan.
Key objectives of the role include day to day line management of the Development Officers, supporting the CDIG committee in developing and delivering outcomes of the GPS and its Action Plan, joint marketing, communication and training, and the identification of funding and partnership opportunities for the heritage sector in the Outer Hebrides. The vision is that through the delivery of the GPS, the heritage, arts and tourism sectors of the Outer Hebrides will attract more users, and that these sectors will be strengthened overall through partnership working. The postholder will also promote the Gaelic language, culture and heritage of the Outer Hebrides.
Post-holder will be based anywhere in the Outer Hebrides.
£32,000 pro rata
Fixed for 2 years, with pay review in year 3
17.5hrs per week
3 year contract with a view to extend.
